Power of The Posssible Photo Shoot

Just finished one of the most uplifting photo shoots featuring models from the POWER of THE POSSIBLE program sponsored by A-List Talent.

Power of the Possible (POP) is a program for kids, teens, and adults with medical conditions or extenuating life circumstances who want to identify as themselves and not their disease or circumstance. The program allows them to gain self-confidence and self-esteem as well as the possibility of a new future or even career. They have the opportunity to explore all aspects of performing arts such as modeling, acting, singing and beginner creative movement/dance.

The shoot included a mix of professional models and my co-photographer, Shelly D. Booker of Shelly Booker Photography. I would also like to thank

Saks Off 5th Avenue, Mebane, NC for providing the Hats that were used in the photo shoot.

Photo Challenge Update

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted photos from my “52 Week, 365 Day Photo/Video Challenge.” Today is the 136th day of the challenge which included a trip to the ENO RIVER PARK in NC. Spent a few hours hiking the trails for the following photos.

That 52 Week, 365 Day Photo Challenge What’s The Status?

I’m still at it. Here is a photo from day 124. More to come.

Shooting On A Cloudy Day

I enjoy shooting in Sunlight but there are occasions when that’s not possible. I had the opportunity to shoot in a flower garden with my photograph partner Shelly Booker. Due to a bad weather forecast, we decided to shoot before the weather damage the flowers that were in bloom.  So, as we say in the film industry “fix it in post,” I created a new preset in Adobe Lightroom to give the photo a brighter look as opposed to the flat look I got from shooting on a cloudy day.

Heading Towards The Halfway Point

Just finished the 100th day of my challenge and I hope you got to see the highlight video and if not, click here. I’m currently working my way towards the halfway point of my challenge and in the process of looking for more things to learn. This weekend gave me the opportunity to learned patience and in the process was able to capture these Blue Birds feeding.

It’s The Colors of Spring Part 3 (Part 1)

Day 92 of my “52 Week, 365 Day Photo/Video Challenge” and we continue with “The Colors of Spring Part 3.” The photos in this series were taken at the Sara P. Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. It is such a beautiful place and so much to shoot, I have to go back to shoot the other half of the park to finish part 3 of this segment. So for that reason, Part 3 will be posted in two parts with this being Part 1.
